What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a small team (Arborist + Junior Arborist) across the southern regions
- Preserve, plant, prune, and fell trees, hedgerows, and shrubs safely
- Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery
- Maintain tree health, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Share best practice and support the development of your team
- Occasionally support wider grounds and environmental tasks
- Lead a skilled team with autonomy and responsibility
- Work outdoors in varied, active projects
- Directly improve local communities’ environment and safety

Technical Skills & Qualifications
- City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra Level 3 in Arboriculture/Horticulture
- CS30–CS40 chainsaw and pruning certifications
- IPAF 3a, 3b, 1b (cherry picker/MEWP)
- NPTC chipper operations
- Confident climbing ability and safe working at height
Experience & Personal Qualities
- Proven arboriculture experience – pruning, felling, planting
- Skilled with tools & machinery (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts)
- Customer-focused and high standards of work
- Knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and disease identification
- Leadership: motivate, support, and develop your team
- Strong health & safety focus
Other Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and trailer entitlement
- Right to work in the UK
- Basic DBS check (arranged by us)
