Working closely with Category Managers and stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll support procurement projects, supplier management and commercial decision-making that directly contributes to organisational success. What you’ll be doing
- You’ll support strategic sourcing and contract management activities across a range of categories, helping deliver value for money while maintaining excellent governance and compliance standards.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting procurement and sourcing projects from initiation through to completion
- Conducting market research and supplier analysis
- Analysing commercial, procurement and spend data
- Supporting supplier engagement and relationship management
- Assisting with contract management activities
- Ensuring procurement activity complies with policy and legislative requirements
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement across procurement processes
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with strong commercial awareness, a curious mindset and a desire to develop within procurement. You’ll have:
- Experience in a procurement, commercial or purchasing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- An understanding of procurement principles and processes
- Experience working with digital systems such as ERP, CRM or MRP platforms
- GCSEs and A Levels (or equivalent) are essential. CIPS membership or working towards CIPS would be advantageous.
