We’re looking for three principal legal counsels to lead and deliver high-quality, customer-focused legal services across our organisation. Each role offers the chance to shape how we operate, advise senior leaders, and influence key decisions that help us deliver safe, secure, and affordable homes for thousands of people. You’ll join an experienced and collaborative team, acting as a trusted partner to the business and helping us deliver on our ambitious growth plans.
The opportunities include:
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Lead on litigation, regulatory and operational legal matters, offering clear, strategic advice to senior leaders. You’ll oversee dispute resolution and manage relationships with external advisors to ensure efficient, value-driven outcomes.
- Property: Provide expert legal guidance on property, development, leasehold management and conveyancing. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support major development projects and ensure legal frameworks enable ethical, effective decision-making.
- Charging and Securitisation: Play a pivotal role in our financing and investment activity, ensuring our homes are ready to be charged and our loans fully secured. You’ll advise treasury and investment teams, leading on charging and securitisation across the Group.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified solicitor or legal executive with significant post-qualification experience in one or more of the above areas.
- Proven ability to lead complex legal matters and manage legal risk.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A forward-thinking, collaborative approach to improvement and innovation.
- Able to complete a basic DBS and consumer check.
