We’re looking for a highly motivated Investment Surveyor to take the lead in delivering our home investment works, cyclical maintenance, and major repairs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full project and contract management process—from surveys, design, and specification, through to procurement, contract mobilisation, and quality assurance. Your work will support our mission to provide homes that are more than just a place to live—they're the foundation for our customers’ wellbeing and aspirations.
You’ll have a varied working pattern that includes site visits, office-based working, and time working from home. Given the nature of the role, you’ll be travelling regularly, so we’ll provide a company car or a cash allowance alternative. You’ll also collaborate across departments and with supply chain partners to ensure that our home investment activity is delivered efficiently, to high standards, and in line with compliance and value-for-money expectations.
Responsibilities- Lead the complete project and contract management process, including surveys, design, specification, procurement, contract mobilisation and quality assurance.
- Proven track record in delivering property investment activities within large, complex organisations
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers effectively
- Extensive background in budget and contract management
- Degree, NEBOSH, or equivalent in a property/construction-related discipline; or a composite of skills and experience
- Confident with mobile working technologies (e.g., tablets, smartphones) and IT systems
- Flexible, reliable and able to manage time and travel commitments effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS check
- Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per year, with an annual salary review
- Company car/cash allowance alternative
- Performance Bonus: Based on individual and company-wide targets
- Flexible Working: We’re happy to explore options if this is important to you
- Personal benefits fund: £500 annual allowance for benefits such as private medical insurance, dental treatment, critical illness cover, or gym membership
- Annual leave: 27 days per year
