Salary of £43,161.75 per year with annual review and £864 per week for on-call rota. 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (option to buy/sell up to 5 days). Annual performance bonus. Responsibilities:
- Installing new boilers and domestic heating systems in customers' homes to a safe, high-quality standard.
- Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, LGSRs, and reactive repairs on heating systems.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on gas installations, ensuring homes remain safe and compliant.
- Removing old systems and upgrading to modern heating solutions, including adapting existing pipework where required.
- Working alongside plumbers or apprentices while retaining responsibility for safe, compliant installations.
- Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety regulations, gas safety standards, and internal procedures.
- Completing safety checks and making sure all homes are left safe, secure, and fit for purpose.
Qualifications:
- Core gas qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1).
- Experience in domestic installations.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and within a supportive team.
- Enhanced DBS check (arranged by BFL).
