What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties
  • Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units
  • Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant
  • Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high-quality, efficient repairs
  • Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served
  • City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
  • AM2 qualification preferred but not essential
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
  • Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Commitment to Bromford’s values and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel
  • Basic DBS Check (arranged by BFL)
