We have a vacancy for a Setter / Operator – CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team at Bromford Precision Solutions Limited. This role is suited to an experienced CNC Turner who is confident setting and operating machines within a fast-paced Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality components to specification, working safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
Role Accountabilities
- Set and operate CNC turning machines in line with production requirements
- Work to production timelines, ensuring output meets quality and delivery targets
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company-specific documentation at all times
- Carry out routine checks to ensure components meet specification and quality standards
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process
- Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and continuous production flow
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with company standards
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry in a similar role
- Apprentice trained (preferred) or able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience
- Experience working in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of working to SOPs and controlled documentation
- Self-driven, results-oriented and positive in approach
- Able to work well with others and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing workload effectively
