As a neighbourhood coach, you’ll work independently to manage a patch of around two hundred homes, making sure the properties are well maintained, customers are aware of their responsibilities as well as offering coaching and guidance. Day to day you will manage tenancy sign ups and changes, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, as well as court work and evictions where necessary. You’ll have a holistic customer approach and build good relationships with services in the local community, making sure you have a positive impact on the lives of our customers.
Working closely with our maintenance and lettings teams, you’ll make sure we effectively allocate empty homes, manage customers’ expectations around repairs as well as escape any property maintenance issues.
To be successful, you will need to be someone who genuinely cares about people - but with resilience, and experience of managing a busy and varied workload. Self-starters who are good communicators will thrive, as well as someone that is curious and doesn’t shy away from having difficult conversations. This role is full time and subject to an enhanced DBS check. You’ll travel to and from surrounding areas as required. Regular home working is available.
You will be someone who:
- Has experience working in a customer facing role, ideally within housing management
- Strives to achieve performance targets, maximising customer satisfaction
- Is tenacious and resilient – who does what it takes to achieve the right outcome
- Sees the best in people and has the capacity to coach
- Has a reputation for first-rate influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills
- Has access to a vehicle and a full driving licence
If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, where you’re trusted to work independently and make a real difference in a local community, this could be the opportunity for you. You’ll balance empathy with resilience, relationship-building with action, and coaching with accountability — all while being supported by a wider, collaborative team.
In return for your commitment, you’ll gain meaningful work, flexibility in how you work, and the chance to grow your skills and confidence in a role where your impact is clearly felt. If you care deeply about people, take pride in well-managed homes and neighbourhoods, and want to be part of a team that is all-in on doing the right thing, we’d really like to hear from you.
What we offer:
- Flexible and hybrid working; many roles support working across our main locations and home
- Performance related pay based on shared success
- A choice of pension schemes with employer contributions of up to 10%
- Employee Assistance Programme that provides 24/7 virtual GP access, prescription service, and talking therapies for you and your family
- Generous holiday, occupational sick pay and paid family leave
- Annual allowance of £500 to spend on benefits of your choosing, including healthcare plans, dental care, gym membership and much more
About us:
We’re Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a place-based affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central and east of England. Our purpose is simple and honest: we invest in homes and relationships so that people can thrive. As the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, we deliver over 3,000 new homes each year—helping to meet growing demand and build stronger communities.
Why our work matters:
The need for safe, affordable housing has never been greater. Rising costs, growing inequality and increasing homelessness are making it harder for people to buy or rent a home. Strong housing associations like BFL play a vital role in providing quality homes and creating opportunities for a better future.
Through place-based working, our teams build progress from the ground up. You’ll find us at the heart of the communities we serve—strengthening neighbourhood relationships, responding quickly to changing needs and planning for the long term.
We’re also a place where people can grow. We give our colleagues the tools and opportunities to build meaningful careers, develop future-ready skills and perform at their best, all within a supportive and inclusive culture guided by our values. We’re a place for people determined to make a difference.
Bromford Flagship LiveWest. A place to make your own.

We know that diverse teams bring out the best in everyone, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and able to thrive. We are a proud "Disability Confident" (Level 2) and Menopause Friendly employer and have signed the Armed Forces covenant to support those who serve. We encourage people from all sections of our community to apply for jobs with us. Particularly, we welcome those who have been historically underrepresented in areas of our workforce including people from ethnic minority backgrounds, disabled people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Wherever possible, we offer flexible working arrangements to help you balance your work and personal life, alongside the tools, training, and opportunities you need to develop and succeed in your career.
By joining Bromford (part of Bromford Flagship LiveWest), you become part of a leading housing provider delivering community-focused services across the east, central and south west of England.
