This is a fixed term, full-time vacancy for an Electrician focused on quality electrical maintenance, repairs and installations with a stable work–life balance and long-term security.

What you’ll get
- Salary: £38,270.09 per year with annual review
- On-call rota: £864 per week
- Holiday: 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (option to buy/sell up to 5 days)

What you’ll be doing
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties
- Maintain and fault-find electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units
- Complete rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant
- Diagnose issues quickly and deliver high-quality, efficient repairs
- Manage materials, record work accurately, and work safely in line with regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure homes are safe and fit for purpose
Experience and qualifications
- Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served
- City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
- AM2 qualification preferred but not essential
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
- Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Commitment to Bromford’s values and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation
- Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel
- Enhanced DBS check (arranged by BFL)
