Do you enjoy helping people take the next step into a home of their own? If delivering great customer service and building strong relationships motivates you, you could be exactly who we're looking for as a Lettings Adviser at Bromford. Our lettings team plays a vital role in helping customers access homes and garages, managing the day-to-day delivery of lettings across our communities.

You’ll guide new customers through the lettings process, ensuring records are accurate and that all activities are delivered in line with our policies and procedures. You’ll ensure the accurate set-up of tenancies and completion of relevant pre-tenancy checks, working closely with our empty homes team to minimise void periods and help customers move into their new homes sooner. You’ll also maintain and manage property shortlists, ensuring a fair and transparent allocation process.

Every day will be different in this varied role, where you'll support customers with the lettings of both homes and garages across our communities. The caseload is diverse, comprising a mix of straightforward cases and more complex situations, ensuring a dynamic and rewarding workload. You'll work at pace to help us meet key performance goals, but the real reward comes from seeing people and families settle into their own homes, where they can build brighter futures, thrive, and create a place they are proud to call home.

You’ll be based from our Chipping Sodbury office, with regular home working available. This is a roaming role, with occasional travel to our head office in Tewkesbury for team meetings, training and wider business activities. A basic DBS check is required.

What we’re looking for:

  • Customer-focused experience: you’ve previously worked in a customer-facing role. While experience in housing or lettings is a plus, a passion for customer service is what matters most.
  • Strong communication skills: You communicate warmly and effectively with both colleagues and customers.
  • Resilience and adaptability: You can stay positive, proactive and composed when handling varied and sometimes challenging situations.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and initiative: Accuracy is critical in this role. You take pride in getting things right first time, maintaining accurate records, completing checks thoroughly, and using your initiative to identify and resolve issues before they impact customers, colleagues or the business.
  • Organisational skills: You can prioritise and manage your workload efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm for the role: You’re committed to helping customers access the homes and services they need, delivering a positive lettings experience from start to finish.
  • Team player: You thrive in a high-performing team, helping us meet our KPIs while letting homes and garages fairly and transparently, in line with our policies.
  • Tech-savvy: Strong IT skills, keen attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic are essential.
  • A great ambassador: You embody our values of Customer-driven, Ambitious and All-in, representing Bromford Flagship LiveWest positively in everything you do.

What we offer:

  • Hybrid working, with the flexibility to work across our main locations and home.
  • Occupational Health, mental health first aiders, menopause champions and annual health checks.
  • A choice of pension schemes with employer contributions of up to 10%.
  • Employee Assistance Programme that provides 24/7 virtual GP access, prescription service, and talking therapies for you and your family.
  • Annual allowance of £500 to spend on benefits of your choosing, including healthcare plans, dental care, gym membership and much more.
  • Generous holiday, occupational sick pay and paid family leave.
  • Fully funded CIH qualification, if it’s a requirement of your role.
