Use your legal expertise to protect customers and resolve complex housing challenges. We’re looking for a qualified legal professional to join our Community Safety Team, supporting housing management litigation across Bromford Flagship LiveWest. You’ll be part of a busy team delivering comprehensive front facing services to customers, colleagues and external partner agencies, acting as an expert in anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement. This is a role where your legal knowledge has real impact — supporting safer communities, resolving tenancy issues and helping the organisation act confidently in complex, high-risk situations.
As a qualified lawyer with at least two years’ PQE, you’ll take ownership of a varied litigation caseload while acting as a trusted advisor across the business.
The impact you’ll have:
- Managing your own caseload of housing management litigation, including anti-social behaviour, tenancy breach, fraud and enforcement cases
- Taking cases from pre-action through to trial, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and consistently
- Conducting advocacy where appropriate and instructing counsel when needed
- Partnering with colleagues and external agencies to ensure a joined-up, risk-aware approach
- Acting as a trusted advisor — providing guidance, challenge and support to colleagues across the organisation
- Supporting capability within the team by sharing knowledge and guiding others
What you’ll bring:
- You’re a confident legal professional with at least two years’ post-qualification experience, ready to take ownership of your own caseload.
- Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights
- A minimum of 2 years’ PQE, with experience in housing management litigation (in-house or private practice)
- A strong track record of handling cases such as possession, ASB, tenancy breaches or fraud
- Advocacy and negotiation skills, with the confidence to represent and influence
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, practical approach to solving legal problems
Why this role is different:
This isn’t just about managing cases — it’s about helping us respond to complex situations in the right way. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload, the opportunity to influence how cases are handled, and the chance to build strong relationships across the business while strengthening your strategic and advisory capability.
What we offer:
- Flexible and hybrid working; many roles support working across our main locations and home
- Performance related pay based on shared success
- A choice of pension schemes with employer contributions of up to 10%
- Employee Assistance Programme that provides 24/7 virtual GP access, prescription service, and talking therapies for you and your family
- Generous holiday, occupational sick pay and paid family leave
- Annual allowance of £500 to spend on benefits of your choosing, including healthcare plans, dental care, gym membership and much more
