About the role

Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance/Waste Cleansing Operative looking for a hands-on role where your work has a visible impact every day? Join Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL) and help keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe, and welcoming.

What you’ll be doing

  • Clearing bulk waste, fly-tipping, and abandoned items safely and efficiently
  • Emptying and removing waste from communal areas and housing blocks
  • Clearing empty properties and gardens in preparation for new residents
  • Sorting and disposing of waste correctly in line with environmental regulations
  • Driving a van or tipper truck (up to 3.5 tonnes) to licensed tips and recycling facilities
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our housing communities
  • Occasionally supporting grounds maintenance duties, such as grass cutting and hedge trimming
  • Make a visible difference in local communities every day
  • Work outdoors in a varied, active role

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Waste Operative or in environmental services
  • Resilient, reliable, and physically fit for outdoor work
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willing to undergo a Basic DBS check (arranged by Bromford)
