We’re now looking for a talented Financial Accountant to support our statutory reporting, taxation compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full time role, working Monday-Friday 37 hrs per week from our office on King St in Norwich.
As our Financial Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager (Financial Reporting) in maintaining the Group’s statutory reporting framework and ensuring full tax compliance. Your expertise will help us strengthen our balance sheet controls and drive efficiency across our financial processes.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and maintain a robust balance sheet control environment
- Deliver continuous improvement across financial accounting processes
- Manage and contribute to key financial accounting projects
- Provide accurate and proactive accounting and tax advice for new business ventures
- Support tax‑efficient reporting and compliance
- Champion our culture of continuous improvement, using your technical knowledge to identify and implement process enhancements
We are looking for a candidate with skills & experience in:
- Experience with group consolidation accounting
- Experience preparing financial statements within a group structure
- Knowledge of tax structures that maximise efficiency
- Experience reviewing and implementing new financial processes
- Experience filing tax returns, with strong documentation practices
- Ability to work with multiple business functions, communicating and advising with clarity and empathy
- Strong technical financial accounting knowledge
Essential Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Educated to GCSE standard
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £43,000-45,500 per annum DOE and a benefits package.
