Have you worked within the housing sector and have a strong understanding of rent setting and service charge management in a regulated environment? Are you qualified, or experienced in accountancy and confident working with financial systems, data, and complex reconciliations?

Here at Bromford Flagship LiveWest, we're looking for an experienced Rent and Service Charge Manager to manage the Flagship rent setting and service charge function, ensuring customer charges are fair, accurate, consistent, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You'll play a key role in shaping our approach to rent and service charge management while driving improvements in systems, data quality, customer service, and financial recovery.

Location: Negotiable - occasional travel to Norwich required

Hours: Full Time with agile working

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Lead and develop the Rent and Service Charge team, supporting both professional and personal development.
  • Manage Flagship's rent setting and service charge function within the wider Finance team.
  • Ensure tenant charges are fair, accurate, consistent, and compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Help shape the Group's rent setting and service charge strategy.
  • Monitor and improve understanding of the gap between service charge income and service charge costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, data, and processes to enhance customer service and financial performance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Development, Assets, Housing, Finance, and IT teams.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience managing a team of finance professionals.
  • Experience working within the housing sector, including rent and service charge setting in a regulated environment.
  • AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, (or equivalent) qualifications; or significant relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting systems and data reconciliation processes.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing and improving financial systems and processes.
  • A track record of driving performance improvement and operational excellence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative working skills.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Confidence working with large datasets, financial systems, and reporting tools.
