We have an exciting opportunity to join Flagship Services as a Plumber working in our Responsive Repairs team. This role is mobile and covers Newmarket and surrounding areas. Please note that you will be required to drive to multiple different places of work. A company vehicle, tools, and uniform will be provided.
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of plumbing and related repairs and maintenance tasks on Flagship properties.
- Install, service, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Assemble and install component parts and fittings.
- Clean damp and mould.
- Carry out void clearances and flood repairs.
- Identify and arrange the removal of asbestos when needed.
Qualifications:
- Full Trade Apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 in a relevant trade, or proven trade experience in plumbing.
- Good mechanical skills, including repairing or replacing parts and identifying root causes of plumbing issues.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
- Competence in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams.
- A full driving licence and willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, including Public Holidays, when required.
