This role is 100% office based. Please only apply if you are able to work in our Bromley office. We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Executive to provide operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain broad HR experience while assisting the Head of HR & Admin with employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. You will play a key role in supporting workforce operations, maintaining HR records, assisting in recruitment processes, and providing support for engagement and culture initiatives. This is a hands-on role with structured supervision and opportunities to develop technical HR capability over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee relations by preparing case documentation, taking minutes at ER meetings, and maintaining trackers.
  • Assist with performance management and probation administration, including reminders, documentation, and appraisal tracking.
  • Support compliance and governance, including Right to Work checks, GDPR-compliant records, HR metrics dashboards, and audit preparation.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and HR systems.
  • Assist with HR communications, benefits administration, and general HR operational tasks.
  • Support engagement and culture initiatives, including surveys, reporting, and company events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential Skills: HR admin experience, basic UK employment law knowledge, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, proficiency in Microsoft Office/HR systems, and effective communication with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Desirable Skills: CIPD Level 3 (or working towards), exposure to employee relations, probation/performance processes, compliance audits, payroll/sponsorship/immigration familiarity, and engagement or culture initiative experience.
  • You are calm, professional, proactive, flexible, solutions-focused, and commercially aware in an SME context.
