An outstanding opportunity to join a leading Finance and Management Information System (MIS) provider for schools and MATs. We are looking for individuals with experience of handling School and/or MAT Finance data, with familiarity of system setups. It is important that candidates are highly motivated, positive and willing to learn and adapt as the software changes and improves.
Job requirements:
- Contributing to discovery sessions with customers to determine their financial system requirements. This includes identifying any bespoke requirements and conditions of sale.
- Working with project managers to create and manage project plans for the setup of Bromcom's finance system for customers, ensuring alignment with the customer success team's training plans.
- Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and setup activities in Dynamics 365, including handover details, tasks, and notes.
- Overseeing the data migration process, including:
- Receiving and reviewing data from customers, including ledger codes, cost centres, supplier information, opening balances, and bank details.
- Importing data into the Bromcom finance system using appropriate tools and processes.
- Validating imported data to ensure accuracy and completeness, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving import failures.
- Setting up financial years, periods, and VAT rates.
- Adding fund codes, bank details, and BACs settings.
- Defining salary periods and configuring base pay structures.
- Setting up books, cost centre allocations, and fund allocations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes, including accounting principles, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in data migration and import/export procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and system configuration issues.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
- Experience in the education sector and familiarity with school financial management systems (FMS or Bromcom Finance).
- Knowledge of Bromcom MIS.
