This executive governance role is responsible for the oversight, delivery, and commercial performance of the EANI EdIS contract, ensuring Bromcom meets all contractual obligations, service commitments, and governance standards. The role covers contract management, customer relationship leadership, service management support, and the executive oversight of delivery teams. You will be accountable for the contract’s financial performance, including reporting, compliance, cost control, and margin protection, supported by the Bromcom finance team. As Bromcom’s largest contract to date, this role requires an experienced governance leader with a strong background in large-scale service delivery, public-sector contracting, and enterprise-level customer engagement. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in contract governance, service assurance, customer management, and programme oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Governance
- Provide executive leadership for all Bromcom teams supporting the EANI contract, ensuring consistent performance, alignment, and accountability.
- Line manage the Principal Education Consultant, Head of Client Services, and Head of EANI Operations & Success.
- Ensure all delivery functions are equipped, motivated, and structured to meet challenging contractual and service delivery objectives.
- Develop, embed, and continuously refine governance processes across the programme to ensure service quality, compliance, and transparency.
- Own all aspects of contract governance, including SLA monitoring, contractual adherence, KPI performance, milestone achievement, and change management.
- Oversee contractual escalations and work with EANI to resolve issues rapidly and constructively.
- Lead the creation and delivery of all mandated reporting (weekly, monthly, milestone and audit reports), ensuring complete accuracy and compliance with contractual templates and expectations.
- Manage the contract change process—authoring, assessing, and coordinating all variations—and ensuring commercial impacts are fully understood.
- Collaborate closely with legal colleagues to ensure the contract is effectively governed, risks are identified early, and compliance is maintained.
- Act as the executive point of contact for EANI, building a strong and trusted partnership at senior levels.
- Provide leadership oversight to ensure Bromcom delivers an outstanding customer experience to EANI and all 1,500 schools.
- Work with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure seamless service delivery, high satisfaction, and consistent operational performance.
- Support Customer Services and Success teams in managing customer escalations, service-level commitments, and quality improvements.
- Provide governance oversight across the full programme lifecycle, ensuring delivery against all contract milestones.
- Work with programme and project management resources to maintain a robust delivery plan that reflects EANI dependencies, operational constraints, and evolving priorities.
- Oversee the monitoring of migrations, onboarding, training delivery, service readiness, and customer support performance.
- Ensure CRM D365 is maintained as the single source of truth for programme documentation, reporting, status tracking, and governance records.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience establishing and leading teams through large-scale change or new programme setup.
- Strong background in contract governance, contract management, and service delivery assurance in large public-sector or enterprise environments.
- Skilled in managing KPIs, SLAs, and contract performance, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex programme and service data.
- Experience engaging with senior customer stakeholders within public authorities or large organisations.
- Strong resource management capabilities, including planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in programme reporting and analysis—experience with MS Project and MS Dynamics is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, issue-resolution, and conflict-management skills.
- Experience with MIS systems and the education sector is highly desirable.
Key Relationships
- Build and maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with EANI at operational, programme, and executive levels.
- Partner with internal Bromcom leaders, particularly the Chief Operations Officer, to maintain delivery cohesion.
- Engage with the Chief Technical Officer to align technology and service innovations with contractual expectations.
- Provide regular governance updates and strategic insights to the Managing Director.
Governance Responsibilities
- Chair weekly internal governance meetings with senior leads, ensuring alignment on risks, actions, and forward planning.
- Own and manage the programme’s risk, issue, action, and dependency (RAID) framework with full transparency.
- Attend all EANI governance and programme forums, representing Bromcom at senior level and contributing proactively to strategic discussions.
- Ensure full audit readiness and adherence to all compliance expectations across the contract.
Travel Expectations
- Travel to EANI locations in Northern Ireland approximately two days per month.
- Travel to Bromcom offices twice per month for executive and operational meetings.
Headline KPIs
- Contract & Service Performance: Ensure full delivery of all contractual milestones, SLAs, KPIs, and reporting commitments, resulting in acceptance and approval by EANI.
