The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

As Head of Performance & Sports Science, you’ll be central to the physical preparation and performance optimisation of the First Team. Your work will include:

  • Leading warm-ups, activation, and physical training components.
  • Delivering gym-based strength & conditioning sessions.
  • Supporting matchday preparation and recovery.
  • Monitoring training loads and GPS data.
  • Working closely with medical staff on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
  • Designing periodised training programmes.
  • Providing performance insights to coaches and senior leadership.
  • Helping shape a positive, high-performance culture.

Who We’re Looking For
