The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As Head of Performance & Sports Science, you’ll be central to the physical preparation and performance optimisation of the First Team. Your work will include:
- Leading warm-ups, activation, and physical training components.
- Delivering gym-based strength & conditioning sessions.
- Supporting matchday preparation and recovery.
- Monitoring training loads and GPS data.
- Working closely with medical staff on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
- Designing periodised training programmes.
- Providing performance insights to coaches and senior leadership.
- Helping shape a positive, high-performance culture.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days look the same, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic football environment.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
