Brokk UK, the world’s leading manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition robots, is seeking an individual to fill the role of a Service Technician to maintain Brokk machines and partner products from the midlands up to Scotland.
The successful candidate will have a background from either electrical, hydraulic or mechanical engineering and be located within a 45 minute commute of our workshop and head office in Milnthorpe.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Carry out maintenance, repair, commissioning and service support to our customers’ machinery and attachments.
- Utilize our online connect system and diagnostic equipment to help troubleshoot machine faults.
- Attend callouts / breakdowns.
- PDI new machines and attachments ready for sale.
- Serve as a key representative of Brokk UK on-site and help develop customer relationships and support.
- Educating clients on how to use and maintain their equipment effectively.
- Complete warranty work to a factory standard.
- Communicating clearly with customers about equipment issues and repairs.
- Ensure all health and safety, quality and environmental requirements are being complied with.

Package:
- Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
- Full-time, permanent, 40 hour week + overtime.
- A fully equipped company van, along with company branded workwear, PPE, special tools, a laptop and a mobile phone to support your work.

The Candidate:
- Relevant industry experience with an electrical, hydraulic, mechanical or diesel background.
- Be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Previous experience on construction or demolition sites.
- Be flexible with hours and adaptable to a changing schedule.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and working onsite.
- Good I.T. Skills.
