The Company
An international access provider, with operations in UK, Ireland and UAE. Brogan Group is a leading access specialist supplying clients with the design, supply and erection of scaffolding, mast climbers, hoists and other access solutions on major construction sites. As a result of our continued growth and expansion throughout the UK, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Trainee Accountant to join our busy accounts department at our Welwyn Garden City Head Office.

Duties to include but not limited to:
- SALES LEDGER/CREDIT CONTROL
- Entering/filing payment certificates onto COINS software and database
- Raising/entering invoices onto COINS software and database
- Debt chasing and liaising with debt collection agencies
- Produce legal collection letters and process CCJs
- Enter valuation/applications on to coins as appropriate
- Other ad hoc sales duties
- Credit checks on potential new & existing clients
- Processing payroll, employee mileage/expense claims (if cover required)
- BOOKKEEPING
- Bank reconciliation for UK and Ireland companies (Sterling & Euros)
- Cashbook and General ledger entries/journals
- Analysing and reconciling the VISA card statements
- Banking cheques
- OTHER GENERAL TASKS
- General office filing and assistance when required
- Analysing and reconciling the fuel card statements
REQUIREMENTS
- COINS software knowledge is preferable but not mandatory as training will be provided
- Construction industry experience would be beneficial
- Must be a team player
- Good telephone manner
- Must be able to work under extreme pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
