We are a growing, family-owned NSI Gold & BAFE accredited business, delivering high-quality Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Emergency Lighting solutions across Leicestershire, and the wider midlands. We provide tailored fire and security solutions to protect lives and livelihoods.

The company specializes in commercial fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire extinguishers for organizations, with a focus on safety, reliability, and responsive support.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicestershire. The engineer will install, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and related life-safety and security equipment mainly for commercial clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Fault-finding, testing, and maintenance of systems
  • Completing accurate documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Planned and reactive (call-out) service visits

Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in Fire and/or Security Engineering, including installation and maintenance of fire alarms and electronic security systems
  • Understanding of network security, particularly for IP-based CCTV, access control, and integrated security platforms
  • Practical experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and Intruder alarms mainly in commercial environments, including fault-finding and testing
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., BS standards, health and safety, best and safe working practices)
  • Ability to read technical drawings, system schematics, and to complete clear electronic service reports and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach when working on customers' sites
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Leicestershire, the Midlands, and surrounding areas as required
  • A relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in fire and security systems or electrical engineering would be an advantage
