We are seeking a Solicitor to join our Restructuring & Insolvency team, with a focus on non-contentious restructuring matters. This is a role advising lenders, corporates, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring transactions. You will play a key role in managing matters, supporting partners on strategic mandates, and contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the practice.
CORE TASKS- Support and manage non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Corporate and group restructurings
- Refinancings and debt restructuring transactions
- Business and asset sales out of insolvency
- Formal insolvency processes (administrations, liquidations, CVAs)
- 2+ years PQE
- Strong technical expertise in non-contentious restructuring and insolvency
- Experience advising lenders and/or insolvency practitioners preferred
- Commercially astute with strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong client relationship skills and ability to operate at senior stakeholder level
- Works to understand the Practice Area's key clients, the sectors they operate in and the challenges they face
- Demonstrates strong research skills
- Ability to deal with competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Brodies and the service it offers
