Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site General Operative role based in North Cave. The General Operative will support daily site operations, including handling, moving, and preparing materials for processing and shipment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods, assisting with packing and labeling, and ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently. The role involves operating material handling equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks, where appropriately trained and certified), maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all health, safety, and environmental procedures. The General Operative will work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets, support continuous improvement, and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with shipping & receiving activities, including checking documentation, handling deliveries, and preparing goods for dispatch.
