Our Course Maintenance team plays a pivotal role in delivering world-class playing conditions for our members and guests year-round.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Greenkeeper to join our team and help maintain the high standards that define Brocket Hall.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced landscaping tasks including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and pest management with adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Oversee and participate in the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of annual course maintenance plans, seasonal changes, and turf management practices.
  • Maintain and repair maintenance equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct inspections of the course to diagnose problems and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices to enhance their skills and ensure effective course maintenance.
  • Engage with members and guests to provide insights about course conditions and any upcoming maintenance activities.
  • Promote and adhere to health and safety regulations and environmental sustainability practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a greenkeeper or in a similar role, with relevant qualifications in turf management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of turf management practices, health and safety regulations, and maintenance equipment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to effectively manage tasks.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills for training and mentoring team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to transport equipment as necessary.
