Our Course Maintenance team plays a pivotal role in delivering world‑class playing conditions for our members and guests year‑round.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced landscaping tasks including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and pest management with adherence to safety guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in the day‑to‑day maintenance of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of annual course maintenance plans, seasonal changes, and turf management practices.
- Maintain and repair maintenance equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct inspections of the course to diagnose problems and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices to enhance their skills and ensure effective course maintenance.
- Engage with members and guests to provide insights about course conditions and any upcoming maintenance activities.
- Promote and adhere to health and safety regulations and environmental sustainability practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a greenkeeper or in a similar role, with relevant qualifications in turf management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of turf management practices, health and safety regulations, and maintenance equipment.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to effectively manage tasks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for training and mentoring team members.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid driver\’s license and the ability to transport equipment as necessary.
