We are partnering with a high-growth technology company operating at the intersection of AI and healthcare to appoint a Strategic Communications Lead.
This is an opportunity to build and lead the communications function from the ground up , working closely with the executive team as the business enters its next stage of growth and increases its external profile.
The Role You will own the company’s corporate narrative, communications strategy and external positioning, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities will include: Build and lead the strategic communications function.
Develop and continuously refine the company’s corporate narrative and positioning.
Lead external communications across media, PR and digital channels.
Plan communications around fundraising, partnerships, product developments and key corporate milestones.
Translate complex scientific and technical topics into clear, compelling narratives.
Support executive, investor and board communications.
Develop communications strategies for strategic partnerships and other key stakeholders.
Build the company's external profile as it moves into its next phase of growth.
Identify and manage communications and reputational opportunities and risks.
The Profile We are looking for someone with: 5-10+ years of experience across strategic communications, corporate affairs, PR or brand leadership.
Experience building or significantly developing a communications function within a growing organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to understand and communicate complex scientific or technical concepts.
Experience working directly with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach suited to a fast-moving environment.
Experience within AI, healthcare, biotechnology or deep technology would be particularly relevant, as would exposure to fundraising, strategic partnerships, media relations or major company/product launches.
