A leading global private markets investor is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity Secondaries team in London. The platform is one of the most established and active secondaries investors globally, with multi-billion-dollar AUM and a diversified portfolio across buyout, growth, venture and special situations strategies.
The Associate will play a central role in evaluating and executing LP portfolio acquisitions and GP-led transactions across North America and Europe, working directly with senior investment professionals in a high-performance, team-oriented environment. This is a rare opportunity to join a Tier 1 franchise with strong deal flow, global reach and a long-standing institutional track record.
Responsibilities- Evaluate private equity secondary opportunities, including LP portfolio acquisitions and GP-led transactions
- Perform detailed fund and asset-level due diligence
- Build and maintain complex financial models (portfolio cash flows, return analysis, sensitivity cases)
- Analyse fund documentation, capital account statements and underlying company performance
- Draft Investment Committee memoranda and present findings to senior stakeholders
- Coordinate due diligence processes with GPs, advisors and internal teams
- Monitor portfolio investments and support valuation processes
