A leading Nordic private equity specialist is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead its global capital raising and investor coverage activities. The firm manages a series of private equity fund-of-funds and co-investment vehicles, investing with top-tier GPs across Europe and North America. With a strong institutional investor base and a differentiated strategy, the platform is entering its next phase of growth and is looking to further institutionalise and scale its fundraising capabilities.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full investor relations function, working closely with senior leadership and playing a central role in shaping the firm’s external positioning.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute the firm’s global fundraising strategy across flagship funds and co-investment vehicles.
- Own and manage relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and family offices.
- Drive new capital development, including origination of new LP relationships across the Nordics, broader Europe, and selectively globally.
- Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including PPMs, DDQs, pitchbooks, and ongoing investor communications.
- Coordinate and lead fundraising processes, including roadshows, due diligence, and closing execution.
- Manage ongoing LP coverage and servicing, ensuring best-in-class communication and reporting.
- Partner with the investment team on product development and strategic positioning.
- Build and lead the Investor Relations function, with scope to grow the team.
- 10–15+ years of experience in investor relations / fundraising within private equity (FoF, secondaries, or direct strategies), or placement agents / capital advisory, or institutional sales within alternatives.
- Strong, demonstrable track record of capital raising from institutional investors.
- Deep network across Nordic and European LPs.
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, including FoF and co-investments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at CIO / IC level.
- Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
- Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is required.
- Senior leadership role with direct impact on firm growth and fundraising strategy.
