The Firm is seeking an exceptional Associate to join its Energy Transition Infrastructure investment team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the energy transition ecosystem, including renewable power generation, energy storage, grid infrastructure, electrification, sustainable mobility, carbon solutions, and related infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to join a highly active investment platform focused on supporting the global transition to a low-carbon economy through long-term infrastructure investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across the energy transition and infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment return scenarios.
- Conduct commercial, financial, operational, and ESG due diligence on prospective investments.
- Prepare investment committee materials, transaction documentation, and internal presentations.
- Assist in structuring transactions and negotiating financing and legal documentation.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
- Analyse market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within energy and infrastructure markets.
- Work closely with management teams, advisers, lenders, and co-investors throughout the investment lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience within: Investment Banking (M&A, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities, Energy Transition or Project Finance); Energy Transition Investing; Strategic Infrastructure Advisory.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated transaction execution experience.
- Understanding of infrastructure business models and project economics.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, power markets, energy storage, grid infrastructure, transportation, or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials from a leading university.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment environment.
