The firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Private Credit team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious investment professional to gain exposure to a broad range of private credit investments across global markets. Working closely with senior members of the investment team, the successful candidate will support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of private credit investments, including direct lending, opportunistic credit, special situations, structured credit, and fund investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and credit underwriting of prospective investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess investment returns, downside risks, and capital structures.
- Perform due diligence on borrowers, fund managers, industries, and market opportunities.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations for internal investment committees.
- Support transaction execution, including review of legal documentation and coordination with external advisors.
- Monitor portfolio investments and managers, analysing financial performance, covenant compliance, and key risk indicators.
- Produce regular portfolio and market reports for senior management.
- Conduct market research on private credit strategies, sectors, and investment trends.
- Participate in meetings with fund managers, sponsors, borrowers, and other market participants.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, corporate banking, asset management, private equity, or credit analysis.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, credit analysis, and capital structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
