A leading European private equity firm is looking to add an exceptional Associate to its London-based investment team. With a strong track record of partnering with management teams to drive growth, the firm focuses on control-oriented investments in the consumer, healthcare, industrial, engineering, and business services sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the deal process, including origination, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and execution
- Conduct in-depth market and industry research to identify investment opportunities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and investment memos
- Work closely with portfolio companies to support value creation initiatives post-investment
- Collaborate with senior team members and operating partners on strategic initiatives
- Prepare materials for internal investment committee presentations and LP reporting
Key Requirements:
- 2β4 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of M&A processes and leveraged buyouts
- Commercial mindset with an interest in operational value creation
