We are supporting an innovative life sciences company as they look to hire a
Quality Assurance Lead to join their growing team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining a fit‑for‑purpose quality management system within a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners, you will oversee quality activities across clinical development while contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the company's Gx P quality management system.
- Oversee quality activities across clinical development programmes.
- Manage quality oversight of external vendors, CROs and manufacturing partners.
- Drive deviation management, CAPAs, change controls and quality risk management.
- Ensure inspection and audit readiness while supporting regulatory submissions where required.
- Develop and improve quality processes, procedures and documentation.
- Promote a strong quality culture across internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the validation and compliance of computerized systems where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
- Approximately 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience within biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO environments.
- Strong knowledge of GCP with a solid understanding of broader Gx P requirements.
- Experience overseeing external vendors and quality agreements.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clinical development programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
