Investment Banking Associate in London

Our Client, fast‐growing boutique investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join its London‐based team. The firm specialises in providing strategic M&A and capital‐raising advisory services to clients across the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to senior leadership, clients, and live transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support execution of M&A and financing transactions across the TMT landscape

Perform complex financial analysis, modelling, and valuation work (DCF, LBO, public comps, precedent transactions)

Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, and client presentations

Conduct sector research, competitive analysis, and target identification

Interact directly with clients, investors, and counterparties throughout the deal process

Help mentor junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives

Candidate Profile

Approximately 3 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with TMT deal exposure

Strong academic background with a solid foundation in corporate finance

Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills

Highly detail‐oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication

Self‐starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a lean, high‐performance team

Passion for the TMT sector and a strong interest in advising growth companies
