A leading Stockholm-based private credit manager is seeking an accomplished professional to lead its fundraising and investor relations function. This strategic role will be responsible for capital formation across multiple credit strategies, managing relationships with a growing international LP base, and helping position the firm as a leading alternative lender in the Nordic region and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns for the firm’s credit funds and tailored mandates, targeting institutional and semi-institutional investors across Europe and internationally.
- Act as the main point of contact for existing and prospective LPs, ensuring excellent client service and consistent updates on fund performance and pipeline activity.
- Oversee the preparation of investor presentations, RFPs, DDQs, quarterly updates, and thought leadership materials in collaboration with investment and operations teams.
- Expand and deepen relationships with Nordic, DACH, UK, and broader European LPs, including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, and private wealth channels.
- Work closely with senior investment professionals and the management team on product structuring, investor feedback loops, and fundraising strategy alignment.
- Build and lead a small but high-performing team of fundraising and investor relations professionals.
- Ensure that all investor communications meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in capital raising or investor relations, ideally in private credit, private equity, or broader alternative investments.
- Demonstrated success in raising institutional capital across Europe, with a strong network in the Nordics.
- Deep understanding of private credit strategies, such as senior lending, unitranche, special situations, or opportunistic credit.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach.
- Native or fluent in Swedish and English; other European languages (e.g., German, Finnish) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
