The firm is seeking a dynamic Investment Director – Renewables to lead and execute transactions across the fast-evolving renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and execute investments in renewable energy assets (e.g., solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, bioenergy).
• Lead all phases of deal execution: due diligence, valuation, negotiations, structuring, and closing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, utilities, corporates, financial sponsors, and advisors.
• Monitor portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance to enhance operational and financial performance.
• Present and defend investment opportunities to the Investment Committee and senior stakeholders.
• Identify emerging trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations in clean energy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in renewable energy investment, infrastructure private equity, or energy M&A.
• Proven track record of leading transactions in the renewables sector.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and structuring skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, technical, and commercial aspects of renewable energy projects.
• German native speaker or fluent in German (written and spoken).
• Advanced degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
