We are working with a leading international investment banking platform looking to add an Associate to its Infrastructure team in London. This is an opportunity to join a highly active advisory team working on complex transactions across the broader infrastructure and energy landscape.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers and clients across M&A, strategic advisory and financing situations, with exposure to corporates, financial sponsors and infrastructure investors.
Responsibilities
- Execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
- Financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis
- Preparation of client presentations, transaction materials and strategic analysis
- Supporting senior team members in the origination and execution of new mandates
- Coordinating due diligence and transaction workstreams
- Conducting detailed company, sector and market analysis
- Working directly with corporate and financial sponsor clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
Qualifications
- Approximately 3-6 years of relevant Investment Banking / M&A experience
- Current experience at Analyst 3 through Associate level
Required Skills
- Strong transaction execution experience across M&A and/or related advisory assignments
- Relevant exposure to Power & Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy, Renewables or Energy Transition
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Experience working on live transactions from initial analysis through execution
- Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong academic track record
- Professional fluency in English
