We are looking for a Spanish speaking Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive team at an Ofsted rated GOOD day nursery in the baby room. This lovely setting is located in the coastal town of Formby and provides high quality childcare and Early Years education. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an Early Years setting where you can use your Spanish as well as develop your skills and training in a unique and different kind of nursery which provides children with an opportunity to learn both languages and benefit from all the advantages of being in a bilingual environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the daily routine of the nursery
- Assist in the planning and implementing of age-appropriate activities
- Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
- Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with
- Observe, support and extend each child’s learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous recent experience in an Early Years/Childcare setting is advantageous
- Paediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding
- A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
- 2 contactable references
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours over 4 days or 40 hours over 4.5 days per week with opportunity to gain a Level 3 Early Years qualification
Salary: £13.50 to £13.70 per hour
Location: Formby L37
