An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spanish-speaking Nursery Practitioner to join a premier bilingual English/Spanish day nursery in a setting which provides children with a unique chance to learn both languages and reap the benefits of an enriching bilingual environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Nursery Practitioner: * Support the daily routine of the nursery * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children * Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff * Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with· * Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences · * Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities * Observe, support and extend each child’s learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork · * Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families Essential Skills and Experience Required for the Nursery Practitioner Role: * A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development * Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities * Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative * A positive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to learn * Excellent communication skills * Experience of working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting * Spanish-speaking * A level 3 childcare/EarlyYears qualification Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
