Company Overview:
We are looking for a level 3 qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive team at an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding’ day nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue and develop your childcare career within a bilingual English and Spanish setting which provides children with a unique opportunity to learn both languages and benefit from all the advantages of being in a bilingual environment (speaking Spanish is not a requirement though!).
Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Nursery Practitioner:
- Support the daily routine of the nursery
- Assist in the planning and implementing of age-appropriate activities
- Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
- Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with
- Observe, support and extend each child’s learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Essential Skills and Experience Required for our Nursery Practitioner:
- A level 3 Childcare diploma (Ofsted recognised) is a requirement for this role, however consideration may be given to a strong level 2 qualified candidate
- Paediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding
- DBS
- 2 satisfactory references
Schedule: Full time Monday to Friday (part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate)
