An exciting, new opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager to take a hands-on approach in the day-to-day running of an Ofsted rated Good setting, located in Formby. If you are an experienced Nursery Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop within this lovely, smaller setting and we would love to hear from you!
Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Nursery Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the setting with a hands-on and collaborative approach, maintaining high standards of care and education
- Support and lead the childcare team whilst promoting staff development through role modelling and best practices
- Champion engaging and ambitious curriculum delivery for optimal learning and development with high levels of learning outcomes for all children
- Develop strong & positive relationships with parents/carers, families and outside agencies
- Promote nursery values and implement nursery policies
- Ensure the safety of all children, adhering to Health & Safety and Safeguarding legislation
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- Proactive with experience of leading, motivating and developing others
- Commitment to the team, supporting colleagues to work together to ensure continuous improvement
- Enthusiastic, professional and creative
- Great planning, organising and time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements, with commitment to child protection and health & safety
- A minimum level 3 Early Years/Childcare diploma is required for this position
