An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and pro-active Finance Assistant to join the team within an established and respected liability loss adjusting/claims management organisation at their office in Mold. The company delivers a superior claims handling service with commitment and expertise on behalf of insurers and insured clients, whilst aiming to provide the most efficient, effective, professional and cost-effective liability adjusting and claims handling service in the UK.
The Finance Assistant will perform a range of financial, bookkeeping and administrative tasks to support the Finance Team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day financial processes. Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Finance Assistant Include:
- Maintain accurate purchase and sales ledger records
- Process supplier and client invoices
- Assist with supplier reconciliation
- Process and allocate customer and supplier payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is correctly filed
- Resolve supplier and customer queries
- General bookkeeping duties
- Preparation of payment runs
Skills and Experience Required for our Finance Assistant:
- Accounts experience in sales and purchase ledger
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Experience in using Microsoft applications including Excel and Word
- A good telephone manner
- Experience in using Sage 50 would be advantageous
- An AAT or similar qualification is desirable
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, office-based
Location: Mold CH7
