WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for a keen, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our production warehouse team. You'll help keep things running smoothly day to day, making sure equipment comes in, gets stored properly, and goes out on time. We want someone who takes pride in following a clear process, spots issues before they become problems, and is always looking for ways to keep things organised and efficient. You'll be working with technical production kit, so a genuine interest in this sort of equipment is important.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Help run the day-to-day warehouse operations, making sure everything that comes in and goes out is handled properly and on schedule
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to make sure every job is completed accurately and on time
- Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Help look after equipment, flagging anything that needs fixing or replacing
- Keep stock records accurate and up to date, making sure everything is labelled and easy to track
- Take part in regular stock checks, sorting out any discrepancies quickly
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised
YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- An interest in, or ideally some experience with, technical production equipment (e.g. AV, lighting, staging or similar kit)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to your work
- The ability to stay calm and keep on top of things when it's busy
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset
- Comfortable using everyday computer tools and happy to learn new systems
- An awareness of safety best practice in a warehouse setting
- Flexibility to work some nights and weekends when needed
