What we’re looking for

We are looking to grow our friendly and helpful team of Scanners and Ushers to join our busy operations team during each event.

You will help to oversee the events each night, by scanning tickets, answering queries, and guiding audience members to their seats.

You will work events on evenings and weekends, and be a friendly face to welcome customers to Troxy.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Scanning customer tickets efficiently and accurately on arrival.
  • Welcoming guests and ushering audience members to their allocated seats, sections or viewing areas.
  • Supporting the safe and orderly movement of customers throughout the venue.
  • Remaining attentive during performances and politely addressing disruptive behaviour, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Answering customer queries and providing clear information about the venue and event.
  • Assisting audience members with additional or accessible requirements where required.
  • Supporting Front of House, Security and other operational teams to help ensure the smooth running of events.
  • Remaining vigilant for customer welfare and safety concerns, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Participating in event briefings and following venue procedures and instructions.

What you'll need to have

  • Clear and confident communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Experiencing working operationally, and within a mixture of departments.
  • Problem solver, proactive thinker.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Calm attitude under pressure.
  • A friendly and warm persona, with a genuine desire to help both customers and the Troxy team.
  • Flexibility: you must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • A genuine love for music and live events.
