What we’re looking for
We need an exceptional leader to plan and deliver our sales strategy in collaboration with the Head of Spaces. This dynamic sales leader will hustle for new business, think creatively, and work alongside the Head of Spaces to grow revenue and attract clients.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Sales
- Lead sales strategy and execution.
- Ensure all sales targets are achieved and KPIs are monitored.
- Maintain the highest standards of sales operations for the space.
- Partner with Spaces & Stories to define proactive strategies that support long‑term and short‑term performance.
- Marketing
- Collaborate with the central Marketing team to deliver data‑driven strategies.
- Monitor marketing KPIs and ensure targets are met.
- Maintain the highest standard of marketing operations.
- Act as brand guardian and grow the brand across the space as agreed with the brand team.
- Finance
- Ensure compliance with Broadwick group policies and metrics.
- Report relevant figures to the space P&L, forecasting and reconciliation to senior leadership.
- Work with the accounts team to reconcile the space P&Ls month to month.
- Provide reports to the line manager and senior leadership when required.
- Operations
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure compliance with group policies and metrics across the division.
- Work with Operations to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Operations once an event is contracted.
- Team
- Identify training needs and guide team development with the line manager and space leadership team.
- Create a work environment that aligns with Broadwick values and principles.
- Other
- Carry out ad‑hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- A proven track record of planning, contributing to and executing sales strategies for complex venues in a leadership role.
- At least 5 years of experience within an event venue sales team or similar.
- Demonstrable commerciality through profitable sales, negotiations and target achievement.
- Experience managing, influencing and inspiring teams of sales and operations professionals.
- Knowledge of the local venue market and key venue agents.
- Experience delivering a venue budget, P&Ls and financial reports with finance teams.
- Strong understanding of collaboration with marketing, brand and venue leaders for evidence‑based strategies.
- Ability to set, manage and monitor targets and KPIs for sales management professionals.
- Exceptional commercial acumen aligning business mission, strategies and objectives.
- Open, honest communication style.
- Endless positivity and proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills to a wide range of people.
- Proficient in the use of Mac computers, G‑Suite and Microsoft Office packages.
