Who Troxy are:

Troxy is East London’s iconic Grade II-listed Art Deco venue with a flexible 3,100 capacity across its dramatic Auditorium and circle. What we’re looking for:

We are looking for confident and reliable people to join our Front of House leadership pool at Troxy, one of London’s most iconic Art Deco venues. This role operates in two ways depending on the event: you will either supervise Box Office or supervise FOH. In both cases you will help keep live events running smoothly and ensure every audience has a brilliant experience. You will lead small teams, support ticketing and sales, manage guest lists, assist accessible customers, help maintain safe customer flow and contribute to accurate end of night reporting. We work across everything from gigs and club nights to award shows, premieres and corporate events.

Key responsibilities when Box Office Supervisor:

  • Oversee Box Office operations during events.
  • Line manage Box Office staff.
  • Manage promoter and venue ticketing holds.
  • Complete the ticketing aspect of venue settlements.
  • Handle all customer ticketing enquiries or complaints.
  • Manage venue and external guest lists.
  • Sell tickets on the door via DICE.
  • Send end-of-night reports to the ticketing and events teams.
  • Manage ticketing allocations and upload barcodes to the DICE system.

Key responsibilities when Front of House Supervisor:

  • Line manage ushers and ticket scanners, ensuring they are in position and performing duties correctly.
  • Support smooth crowd flow and overall customer movement throughout the venue.
  • Assist with ticketing issues that don’t require Box Office intervention.
  • Help accessible customers to and from the DDA area.
  • Support the Event Manager with front-of-house duties as required, including cloakroom management and audience communication at the end of the night.

General responsibilities:

  • Be a consummate team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Promote the highest level of customer service.
  • Support collaboration across all Troxy departments.
  • Seek continuous improvement in personal and team performance.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required by management.
  • Understand and uphold Equality & Diversity standards in the workplace.

You’ll need to have:

  • Excellent knowledge of ticketing systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organisation.
  • Excellent customer service approach.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong numerical ability.
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in Box Office or Front of House supervision (music or events industry preferred).
