Company: Project Farm (Partner of Broadwick)

Role: Event Project Manager - Retail Division

Reports into: Account Lead of Retail

Location: Tottenham and Canada Water, London

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent ( hours per week, Monday to Friday, with OT or lieu days for weekend work)

About the role:

As Event Project Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider leadership team to support the planning and delivery of Project Farm’s retail, placemaking, public realm and brand activation experiences. This role is suited to someone with previous events experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, developing greater ownership across project delivery, client management and commercial awareness.

You will support a portfolio of property and place-based clients across our retail and public realm division and take ownership of selected projects and activations from briefing through to completion. You will work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, venue teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Alongside Project Farm projects, you will also support delivery across selected corporate bookings at Drumsheds, offering exposure to venue operations and live event environments.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’re looking for an organised, proactive and solutions-focused person who enjoys delivering experiences that connect people and places.
  • You’ll already have some experience delivering events and understand what excellent event delivery looks like both behind the scenes and on-site.
  • You’ll be confident coordinating suppliers, managing timelines and supporting operational delivery while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your workload and enjoy balancing operational detail with practical problem-solving.
  • You’ll be someone who takes initiative and enjoys being hands-on in delivery.
  • We’re looking for a can-do attitude and someone who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up onsite — whether that’s problem solving in the moment, moving kit, supporting suppliers, helping the team or stepping in wherever needed to ensure the event is a success.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Project Planning & Client Management
    • Support the planning and delivery of retail, placemaking and public realm activations from brief through to completion.
    • Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted day-to-day contact across projects.
    • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and commercial targets.
    • Support proposals, pitches and RFP responses, including budgeting and project planning.
    • Lead and attend project meetings, ensuring actions and documentation are captured and communicated.
    • Conduct post-event debriefs and ensure learnings are carried forward into future projects.
  • Event Delivery & Operations
    • Take ownership of the delivery of small to medium-scale events and activations, including supplier coordination, logistics, staffing and on-site delivery.
    • Manage your own project timelines and workload, escalating challenges proactively where required.
    • Coordinate staffing requirements and maintain relationships with staffing agencies and suppliers.
    • Attend site visits and contribute to operational planning and venue management.
    • Develop knowledge of repeat client sites and venues to improve delivery and efficiencies.
    • Follow and implement Project Farm health and safety procedures and documentation.
    • Coordinate event logistics, supplier schedules and movement of event assets and equipment.
    • Support applications for permits, permissions and council approvals where required.
    • Work with production suppliers and maintain a working understanding of event production requirements including AV, power, staging and lighting.

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience within the events industry.
  • Experience supporting and independently delivering small to medium-scale events and activations from planning through to execution.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with experience managing budgets and financial tracking.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, staffing teams and external stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of event operations and logistics.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety processes, risk assessments and event compliance.
  • Confidence in communicating with clients and managing expectations.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative working style.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with strong initiative and a willingness to get stuck in onsite and support the wider team where needed.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and confidence learning new systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel where required.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working within retail, placemaking, property or public realm activations.
  • Experience securing permits, licences or council approvals.
  • Basic understanding of event production and technical delivery.
  • Experience contributing to pitches or RFP responses.
  • Experience using project management or event management systems.
