Job Description
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, confident and driven sales professional to join our growing team. As an Event Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in the success of our B2B exhibitions in the education and healthcare sectors. You’ll build relationships, grow revenue and become a champion within these impactful industries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys selling over the phone, thrives on hitting targets and is eager to develop their career in a fun, collaborative team environment. You’ll be expected to maintain a high level of outbound client engagement (minimum 70 minutes daily), focusing strongly on new business generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities to new and existing clients
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients to encourage upselling and repeat business
- Source and qualify new business leads
- Attend competitor and partner events to identify new opportunities
- Be onsite at events for setup, live days, and face-to-face selling
- Use our CRM system effectively to manage your sales pipeline and activity levels
- Collaborate with the sales team to hit individual and team targets
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to exhibitor questions and feedback
- Quote prices, negotiate, and close sales confidently
- Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks as needed
