The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.
Permanent contract to start as soon as possible. Based at Broadwalk Green PRU, the Green, Clifton, Swinton, plus any satellite sites. Broadwalk is a Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit with a capacity for 40 pupils. All pupils have been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are at risk of such.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self‑motivated person to provide a key role in maintaining our school sites and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.
Duties will include:
- Locking the school and carrying out security checks on the building.
- Carrying out and recording basic checks, and maintaining Health and Safety records.
- Supporting the maintenance of property and grounds, including liaising with contractors.
- Monitoring site stock and ordering supplies.
- Experience of DIY and the ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently.
- Willingness to attend training courses, including Health and Safety.
- Undertaking some cleaning duties.
The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder. Previous experience would be beneficial. Previous applicants need not re‑apply. Interview date will be confirmed after shortlisting.
