Help Us Build Something Special From the Ground Up

Broadview Animal Hospital is coming to Portsmouth!

This fall, we're opening the doors to our brand-new hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and we're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who wants to be part of something truly exciting: helping build a veterinary practice from the ground up. This is more than stepping into an established position. It's an opportunity to join a new hospital from the beginning, help shape its culture, build relationships with a new community of clients, and work alongside an experienced veterinary organization with more than 40 years behind it.

A brand-new hospital, without the uncertainty of a brand-new practice.

You'll have the support, resources, mentorship, and collaboration of Broadview's established network and 20+ veterinarians while helping create the next chapter of Broadview in Portsmouth.

Why Broadview?

Broadview has been privately owned and veterinarian-led for more than 40 years, and we're incredibly proud to remain that way as we grow from three hospitals to four. You'll have the excitement and opportunity of joining a brand-new hospital while still having an experienced organization behind you.

True Collaboration

Join a network of 20+ veterinarians with experience across general medicine, surgery, orthopedics, reproductive medicine, behavior, and urgent care. You're never practicing on an island.

Work-Life Balance

No late nights and no on-call shifts. We believe you can be an exceptional veterinarian and still have a life outside of the hospital. You will have minimal weekend time, only a few weekend shift rotations per year!

Growth & Mentorship

CE allowance, CE days, in-house learning opportunities, and a comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program support both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

Support You Can Feel

Experienced managers, CVTs, technicians, and support teams allow our doctors to focus on practicing medicine. Our leadership team works one-on-one with our doctors to support scheduling, communication, and their overall experience at Broadview.

A Voice in Something New

Portsmouth is a unique opportunity to help establish a new team and hospital culture while bringing Broadview's established standards of medicine and patient care to a new community.

What We Offer

  • Health insurance with allowance and medical expense reimbursement account
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Paid time off, sick time, and holidays
  • 401(k) with employer contributions
  • Paid licensure, malpractice, and disability insurance
  • Continuing education allowance and CE days
  • Employee pet care discounts
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Flexible scheduling
  • No on-call shifts
  • And more

Why Portsmouth?

Work where people come to vacation. Portsmouth offers the energy, restaurants, culture, and charm of one of New England's most sought-after coastal communities, while keeping you within easy reach of the New Hampshire Seacoast, Maine, the White Mountains, and Boston.

And this fall, Broadview gets to call Portsmouth home too.

Ready to Help Build What's Next?

Whether you're a seasoned veterinarian, a newer doctor looking for the right place to grow, or someone excited to develop an interest in reproductive medicine, we'd love to meet you.

Come help us open the doors, build the team, shape the culture, and create something special in Portsmouth from day one.

You won't be building it alone. You'll have more than 40 years of Broadview experience and 20+ veterinary colleagues behind you every step of the way.
